The holiday season is in full swing and you have probably already experienced the hectic mayhem of all the extra people visiting. Usually the Holidays bring new opportunities for businesses if you take advantage of them. It’s easy to take the holiday season off, but the benefits of staying in tune with everything going on will pay off greatly in the end. Here are a few ways to continue to grow your business during the holiday season:
A great way to attract new customers is to offer something for free. It doesn’t have to be a costly item. Something small can entice many people to see what else you have to offer and sometimes the effort of the free offer will bring in people just because you are participating in the holiday cheer of giving. If you have the ability to give samples of your best product out, I highly recommend that. People love being able to sample something before they fork over the money and buy the entire product. Yes there is a chance that they won’t like the product, but the odds of people coming back to try something else are greater than if you weren’t giving out samples at all.
A rewards program is another great way to attract new customers. This is especially true for businesses that are offering similar products as other businesses around the area. Customers love to have a sense of accomplishment when they are purchasing something over and over again. Whether it’s getting something for free, or earning points to later be able to put towards something else. I’m sure you have some sort of rewards card in your wallet so having one for your business is just as practical.
Referral programs are great also. People already talk about products and businesses they love, so why not reward them for it so they will talk even more. I know that when I like/love something I want to share it with everyone and getting something in return would just be a bonus for me.
Don’t let the holiday season slow your business down, get out there and attract new customers. Slacking off will only cause you and your business to pay later. These simple suggestions could help grow your business with little effort during this season and you can still enjoy the time off with your family!!
