Hey Everyone,

It turns out that most people experience constant stress, in fact over 70 percent of Americans do, according to a recent study.
If that statistic is true, you’re probably trying to manage your stress levels at this very moment.

Unfortunately, we try to compartmentalize it but we can’t because it spills over to the very part of our being. It impacts our health, relationships, the work we do, and at times it even derails our relationship with God.

So here are three simple, but tangible, ways we can manage stress.

Evaluate Your Load
Often we try to be superwomen our superman and say yes to everything, which makes our load heavier and heavier. Draw a line and set some boundaries. Get comfortable with saying no, and lighten your load.

Ask for Help
Many times stress is a signal that we’re doing too much at once. But we tend to ignore it and never ask for help. You don’t have to do it alone, reach out to your village of family, friends, and co-workers and receive the help you need.

Pray and Worship
When we pray and worship, it shifts our focus from a performance mindset to a posture of surrender. Doing so will help us reestablish a healthy perspective. When you don’t have the words to pray, just worship and open up your heart to receive peace, clarity, and joy in the journey. It’s hard to feel stress when worship is in your heart.

Lastly, remember that stress is a part of the journey. If it’s left out of control, it will negatively affect your well-being. There will always be a list of to-dos waiting for you; it’s up to you to approach it from a healthy perspective. Show stress who’s the boss. 😉
